I do not accept insurance. I am an out of network provider which means I do not bill your insurance company directly but we will provide a receipt (called a superbill) for the sessions you paid for. You may submit this superbill to your insurance provider for any out of network benefits you may have and they will issue a reimbursement check. I recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning therapy to find out what your out of network benefits are. It is the client’s responsibility to pay for their session at time of service, regardless of insurance benefits.

Sessions are $350 for a 50 minutes session. I offer a few sliding scale times however, they are currently taken. I accept credit cards for payment for Telehealth sessions and credit card, check or cash for in-person sessions. Session fees are due at the time of session. If I am not a fit for you financially, or for any reason, I would be happy to provide you with a referral from my network of colleagues.

When we are beginning I require weekly therapy sessions. This allows us to build rapport and develop a therapeutic relationship. Frequency also allow for a therapeutic experience, as opposed to a merely supportive one. In time as you find readiness to end your treatment, we may go down to every other week as you work toward ending therapy.

Not necessarily. I draw on EMDR, parts work and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic modalities, tailoring the combination and approach for each client and their unique needs. For some people EMDR is the primary focus on their therapy and for others it is not utilized at all and everything in between. We can determine together what’s right for you.
